Vince McMahon says he expects more from family members who work for WWE
Vince McMahon says he had higher expectations for his family members who work for WWE than for other employees. McMahon spoke about the future of WWE after relinquishing the reins during his interview with Pat McAfee on Thursday, and he explained that he doesn’t think about it often and that he “expects more” from his family members, noting that he should be objective and look at them as they would other employees.

On if he thinks about the idea of WWE’s future without him: “No, I don’t think about it much. Hopefully – if you’ve built something, I hope you want it to continue, you know, and thrive and grow, whether it’s with a family member or without a family member. . Because my view is that business is best for everyone, whether you’re in it or you’re not. And you should treat it as such.
Working with family and doing business with them: “You have to be objective, you know, and look at family members or whatever like you would at other employees. And quite frankly, I was probably expecting more, you know, from my family members, which is probably not the right thing to say. But nonetheless, it feels like you have to do the right thing for the business. So if that person isn’t working, they shouldn’t be part of the business. »
