FPAI Family Planning Hospital reopens

Mysore/Mysore: The Reproductive Health and Family Planning Clinic (RHFPC – Family Planning Hospital), which had been closed seven years ago, has started to operate again.

Dr. Chaithanya and his team successfully performed laparoscopic surgery on July 8, 2022 in the newly established operating room.

FPAI is an NGO that used to provide family planning services in its hospital located at No. 183, “Rekha”, Udayagiri, Mysuru (previously known as Chakra Hospital) with the help of central government and state governments .

Activities, which had been halted since 2014, have been restarted in the new theater of operations at his hospital located at No. 4607, L-18, 3rd Cross, St. Mary’s Road, near Maruti Circle, NR Mohalla, Mysuru . The Association carries out its activities under the direction of Prof. SN Hegde, Hon. President, supported by Prof. SS Malini and Dr. Mylahalli Revanna, members of the Ad Hoc Committee.

Laparoscopic sterilization, contraceptive surgery, MTP, medical abortion, prenatal and postnatal services for pregnant women, maternal and child health services, infertility issues and counseling services are provided by the Planned Parenthood Association of India (FPAI).
