Bucks County Family Services Association Honored as Commerce Community Service Champion

LANGHORNE >> The Bucks County Family Services Association received the Community Service Trade Champion Award from the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce.

Several board members and family services staff were in attendance, as board member Francis J. Sullivan, Esq. presented the award to Julie Dees, President and CEO.

The recognition took into account all of the essential health and social service programs Family Service provides to its neighbors in Bucks County, and how the agency has continued to do so amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“What Family Service accomplishes is only possible because of the support and guidance of our Board of Directors, the commitment and passion of our wonderful staff and volunteers, strong connections and collaboration with community partners and the generosity of so many donors,” said Dees. . “Together we are Family Service, and together we bring hope, healing and a better tomorrow.” She then expressed her gratitude to the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and thanked all of the other champion recipients.
