AC Electric to support Jewish Family Service

MARGATE — Atlantic City Electric, an Exelon company, is committed to being a builder-donor agency for Jewish Family Service in Atlantic and Cape May counties. Funds totaling $3,000 will support health and social services programs to ensure residents and clients continue to receive services that meet their individual needs.

“We are delighted to welcome Atlantic City Electric as a donor agency. For more than 10 years, the company has been committed to supporting the JFS Food Pantry and fundraising efforts. This financial contribution further underscores their unwavering commitment to community betterment,” JFS CEO Andrea Steinb said in a statement.

“We are extremely pleased to support JFS as well as the many organizations in our communities that provide helpful services to residents in need through various fundraising efforts and volunteer opportunities,” said the Electric Region Chairman. of Atlantic City, Doug Mokoid. “These contributions are part of our commitment to energizing communities and being a good corporate citizen for the regions where our employees live and work.”

Atlantic City Electric’s charitable contributions include more than financial support, they come with a dedicated commitment of volunteers. In 2021, Atlantic City Electric donated approximately $1.2 million to local nonprofits, while its employees volunteered nearly 12,580 hours to help hundreds of organizations across South Jersey.
